Women still dominate public relations
During Q2-2023, nearly 100 Canadian agencies experienced growth and provided a range of services including advertising, creative design, branding, media planning and buying, public relations, social media management, and more. In Canada, agency leadership still struggles to achieve diversity, as less than 1% of agency leaders are non-Caucasian individuals.
Women still dominate the field of public relations, holding 80% of leadership positions in agencies at all levels.

Methodology: data was calculated based on Agency Growth (ex. Account Wins; Retention and Project Wins) during the period of April 1 to June 30, 2023. A weighted score was given to each agency based on the metrics above. The first 10 agencies with the highest score are listed below (names of the brands are not disclosed).
