Subway Canada is known for its iconic 6-inch and footlong subs. In a new playful campaign, the QSR brand is playfully swapping imperial measurements for metric in a move that taps into national pride and Canadian humour, and a measurably more Canadian way to enjoy its classics.

As Canadians rally behind homegrown businesses, Subway Canada is making a patriotic shift by embracing the metric system in a clever new campaign. Starting September 2nd, the brand will launch a selection of 15.24 cm Canadian Classics, each priced at just $5.99, available for a limited time.
“We have a tremendous value offer of five classic subs a price point Canadians are craving right now.” states Denny Downie, Head of Marketing for Subway Canada. “We found a timely way of reinforcing a distinctly Subway brand ordering experience, while communicating our value messaging with a wink.”
Subway Canada launched a national campaign that has been leveraged to promote their five classic subs for just $5.99. The strategy is designed to spark conversation and reinforce Subway’s place in Canadian culture.
