Happy Earth Day!  Brands from all across Canada are showing their commitment to "Restore Our Earth" and taking actions to better our planet.    We took a moment to reach out to brands and their agency partners to provide you a (2) part roundup of brands supporting Earth Day 2021.

In honour Vancouver-based Beetbox will donate one dollar from every Crispy Chick-Un Sandwich sold to help low-income families from around the Lower Mainland send their children to camps organized by the Saplings Outdoor Program — a forest school that connects children with the natural world, allows them to explore the outdoors and discover a deep sense of wonder and love for learning. People are also encouraged to leave an extra donation if they so choose.  If any guest chooses to leave an extra donation to the Saplings Outdoor Program that the team at Beetbox will match it dollar-for-dollar!

Ocean Wise is recruiting Canada’s restaurant and foodservice industry to help tackle this growing environmental crisis. Today the brand has rolled out its new Plastic Reduction Program will support food businesses in reducing unnecessary plastic waste, thereby protecting the ocean and aquatic life.  The program helps restaurants measure current plastic use and identify opportunities to reduce, replace, refuse, re-use, or better recycle harmful and unnecessary plastics.


Greenlid, maker of  is compostable and sustainable products for consumers, retailer and more is encouraging Canadians to reflect and become more conscious about consumption across all areas of their lives to help tackle environmental challenges, including uncontrolled pollution.

Fresh Beauty

Fresh has entered a new partnership with the Union for Ethical Biotrade, a non-profit that advocates for sustainable ingredient sourcing, respect for biodiversity and equitable socio-economic practices for all partners.   Additionally, Fresh is making a commitment to sustainability starts with sourcing assessments for hero ingredients such as rose, soy, and lotus by 2023, and continues to ensuring improvement plans are in place by 2025. Fresh is committed to improving ingredient sourcing with respect to the planet and people, and making a positive impact in the communities where they source by 2030.


NIVEA has rolled out their #CleanYourRoutine Campaign as part of Earth Day initiatives.  They are also  encouraging Canadians to take action by making 5 small eco-friendly swaps to their everyday lives – to #CleanYourRoutine.   NIVEA donate to Earth Day Org. to support their initiatives towards sustainability.




Tug is working with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) through their #VoiceForThePlanet initiative to drive further change at Biden’s Leaders’ Summit on Climate to take action to tackle the climate crisis with nature-based solutions.  Consumers can get involved to add their own voice to the cause.


Canadian clothing maker Ecologyst is donating 50% of proceeds from their Earth Day Tee go to RAVEN (Respecting Aboriginal Values and Environmental Needs). A local registered charity that is passionately committed to Indigenous justice and environmental rights.
