This is a week that will be remembered for a long time and last night the Government of Canada ordered the dissolution of TikTok's which includes around 100 employees across offices in Toronto and Vancouver.  Access to the app will not be blocked, so Canadians will be able to continue using and posting content on the TikTok app,

Our sister publication Profectio reached out advertisers reacted to the news and reached out to TikTok, a spokesperson responded saying "Shutting down TikTok’s Canadian offices and destroying hundreds of well-paying local jobs is not in anyone's best interest, and today's shutdown order will do just that. We will challenge this order in court. The TikTok platform will remain available for creators to find an audience, explore new interests and for businesses to thrive."
