Molson has recently introduced their new initiative called 'Backyards', initiating a comprehensive summer marketing strategy aimed at fostering camaraderie and togetherness within the Canadian community.
Molson has always aimed to unite Canadians. Following the introduction of Everyone In in 2023, Molson's Backyards platform, created by its agency of record, further embodies this idea. A backyard can represent various things, ranging from a tangible grassy area to the metaphorical mindset it evokes.
The main goal of the campaign is to highlight the importance of these areas to Canadians. It suggests that this summer is the perfect time to break down barriers in our communities and truly embrace everyone. The campaign was launched on April 20th with the premiere of an exciting TV commercial. Following this, there will be a thorough public relations, influencer, and activation effort to welcome all Canadians.
