Vice MediaThe up and down story of Vice Media has taken an unfortunate turn as the company plans to stop publishing Vice.com and cut hundreds of jobs according to a memo sent by CEO, Bruce Dixon.  This follows other layoffs the company made back in April, followed by the company filing for bankruptcy in the US and was bought by Fortress Investment Group.
At its peak, Vice was a media darling offering properties across digital, television and film outlets, New York-based Vice was valued at $5.7 billion in 2017.
