With the 2020 holiday season on the horizon, Heineken is helping Canadians send a one-of-a-kind holiday gift for this one-of-a-kind year, and encouraging them to celebrate responsibly in more ways than one. Because the perfect gift doesn’t come from you – it is you.
Heineken is giving Canadians the chance to send the #TheBestieGiftEver: themself. Well, kinda. Canadians can visit www.bestiegiftever.ca for a chance to send a life-sized cut-out of themself to a friend or family member. Through the interactive experience, consumers can deck themselves out for the holidays with customized hats, sweaters and more, and send “themselves” off.
All participants will also receive a festive digital version of themself to use on social or send in a holiday e-card so they can cheers to their bestie with a Heineken – even if they can’t be together in person. With #TheBestieGiftEver, Canadians can #SocializeResponsibly this holiday season – and make it fun!
The campaign is available to Canadians in Ontario, British Columba and Alberta. In addition to targeted media outreach, it will be amplified on social media with Heineken’s influencer partners and sponsored video content with a major Canadian lifestyle outlet starring macro influencers. You might have also seen a version of the campaign during a recent episode of Seth Meyers where his brother surprised him with his very own Bestie Gift Ever.
