Brookline Public Relations (Marketplace Listing) recently lead and execute a new campaign for TELUS Spark, Calgary’s reimagined science center, and Canadian Celebrity Chef, Roger Mooking. The campaign was centered around the launch of a new market-style café launched at TELUS Spark headlined by celebrity chef, Roger Mooking. Social Eatery by Roger Mooking opened with a public soft launch in March, followed by a series of events including a VIP and Media Launch, a VILP Launch (for TELUS Spark’s younger audience of Very Important Little People) and an Industry Launch event to introduce new culinary services offered by Social Eatery and new in-house catering provided by charbar (a highly esteemed Calgary restaurant partner).
For their part, Brookline managed an ongoing media relations which helped to highlight the opening and new culinary services at TELUS Spark, which culminated in a full-day media tour prior to the VIP event, with Chef Mooking participating in interviews at all Calgary television outlets, including CTV, Global and CityTV, as well as coverage from the Calgary Herald, the Weather Network, Culinarie, Where Magazine to name a few. Traditional and online media coverage continued following the execution of the first VIP event, during which #SocialEaterybyRM was trending on Twitter, and was ongoing throughout the following month leading up to the VILP and Industry events – in addition to an abundance of social media buzz.
