Weber Shandwick Canada has announced the return of Trish Ault as Executive Vice President, General Manager for the Ottawa office and the National Practice Leader for Social Impact.
In her new role, she will lead the Canadian team of Social Impact storytellers, content creators and advocates to deliver insight-driven communications programs that drive awareness and engagement on social issues as well as continued focus on growth in this market. Ault returns to the Canadian operation after three years working abroad leading communications efforts on global development programs.
From 2010 to 2011, Trish was headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya as communications director for the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA) chaired by former UN Secretary General, Kofi Annan. Responsible for the development and implementation of AGRA’s global communications and advocacy strategies, Ault worked in markets across sub-Saharan Africa. In 2011, she relocated to Seattle, Washington, where she led the Weber Shandwick global communications team supporting a major foundation also active in global development.
