Earlier in the year, Publicis Groupe Canada acquired Montreal-based Moov AI to further the holdco's capabilities and services. Fast forward a few months, and we are now witnessing the latest new service being offered by MSL Canada and MSL Canada, both of which are agencies under Publicis.

The new service is called Digital Brand Influence, or DBI, and according to the press release sent to PR In Canada, it is "a new proprietary service that analyzes how a brand is cited and characterized across AI systems, providing a holistic view of a brand’s digital footprint and the knowledge to shape perceptions."
With the increasing amount of information we encounter daily, DBI was created to help brands appear in AI search results as generative AI becomes the primary source of information for many people.
DBI reveals whether your brand is present—or absent—within AI systems. Today, influence depends on credible sources, consumer behaviour, and technical infrastructure working together. If AI can’t find or trust your brand, neither will your customers.
DBI measures frequency, accuracy and sentiment wherever the brand is cited and characterized across various AI systems.
While a significant part of public relations involves building and nurturing relationships, understanding people and the channels they use is also essential. Using these insights can help create real impact.
