From day one, the Pomp & Circumstance PR team has had a love for travel, the very first policy was to create a ‘Bucket List’ bursary to help employees take on new adventures. The second initiative was an annual employee of the year award: #PompPostcard where one employee is sent to a new place to discover each year. The only requirement? That they send the team a postcard from their destination. After almost a decade in business can you imagine the number of postcards the team as accumlated? Now with the pandemic in the rearview and travel back in full swing they have turned this side project into a full product called Pomp Postcard. The new product offering is a travel content series of city guides, produced by agency team members, designed to showcase how to take in new parts of the world. The moniker is a nod to the essence of a 4X6 space where personal dispatches from new destinations sparked joy as they arrived in people’s mailboxes.
“The core of what we create and offer at Pomp is ideas and big picture thinking and we believe that the best way to fuel that creativity is to continually explore the world in search of inspiration,” said Lindsay Mattick, Co-Founder and Creative Director of Pomp & Circumstance. “When we started the agency we made travel a core value and encouraged our team to embrace a wanderlust spirit, bringing the best of the world home, infusing new ideas into their work. The launch of Pomp Postcard allows us to share some of our best adventures, findings and experiences with wider audiences.”
The company plans to evolve the offering over time to offering travel guides and custom packing lists to one-of-a-kind, guided experiences hosted by our founders and team members. Back in June, Pomp & Circumstance PR launched a their sister agency Bonus Track.
