91% Of Consumers Want Brands To Share, But Small Percentage Do It Well [Study]

As they roll out the results from their latest consumer study with called “brandshare,” Edelman has found that an overwhelming majority of people across eight countries – including Canada – want marketers to more effectively share their brands. In Canada, 91 per cent of people want brands to share and only eight per cent feel brands are doing this well, which is consistent with other markets.


Survey Says: 30%+ Of Canadian Consumers More Likely To Buy From Brands They Follow On Twitter

ExactTarget released their Digital North, which surveyed more than 1,300 online Canadian consumers (ages 18 and older), and the research found Twitter users are more likely than Facebook and email users to buy from a company after engaging with them online. According to the data, more than 30 percent of online Canadian consumers are more likely to buy from a company after following them on Twitter.

According to a survey of 2,000 women conducted by OnePoll, one in four women distorted or exaggerated what they are doing on the social media site once a month. Many of the surveyed women had pretended to be out of town, to be home alone or embellish about their job or an exotic holiday.
