Team SonnetToday Sonnet Insurance [TCO] unveiled its ‘Team Sonnet’ initiative, a new women’s hockey team coming to Toronto for the upcoming season in the Secret Dream Gap Tour.  This is part of a new sponsorship between Sonnet Insurance [TCO] and the Professional Women’s Hockey Players Association (PWHPA). United in their love of the game, innovative spirit and commitment to advancing women’s professional sports, this new partnership signifies a milestone in the ongoing journey to gender equality for women’s pro hockey in North America.

“Sonnet is doing its part to ensure the launch, longevity and success of Canada’s cherished sport for current and future generations of women and girls through our support of the PWHPA,” said Brian Long, VP of Marketing, Sonnet. “We believe that young girls need to have prominent professional sports role models.
