COVID-19 continues to have an impact on all aspects of our daily lives, there have been so many stories about people doing their part to help, but PR In Canada wanted to share some stories about Brands Supporting For Good.
This week Blackjet Inc launched a new initiative called #CreativityForGood and the team over at Faulhaber Communications [TCO] is providing support for the creative community with free PR consultation services.
This initiative serves to help organizations that are struggling amid COVID-19 by offering free content development that can be used to help amplify their stories. One of their first projects under the new initiative was an animated social video for Good Shepherd Ministries to help them drive donations so that they can continue to help feed and shelter Toronto’s vulnerable homeless community.
“We were in a position where we’ve been forced to sit back as the world comes to a complete halt. We just got tired of feeling hopeless and decided it was time to put our resources to work, creating beautiful content, pro-bono, for brands that need it most right now” said Marco D’Angelo, executive producer at Impossible Studios.
Impossible Studios as part of Blackjet Inc, which was launched last month, has modified their operations to offer content development in a manner that is safe and remote, without compromising the creative integrity of their projects, through animation, CGI and audio.
When asked about the initiative, Robert Galleta, CEO of Blackjet Inc, said “We wanted to do more than just sit on the sidelines and watch as businesses struggle to rethink how they operate. So, we put the call out to creatives, production teams and makers everywhere to step up, join our cause and help the businesses that could use our creative support.”
“We have always been a fan of the entrepreneurial spirit that Blackjet Inc embodies and the timing of this initiative was serendipitous as we have just launched our new hourly senior consultation service FConsults. We are thrilled to partner with Blackjet Inc and Impossible Studios to give back to business that need a lift during this time,” said Christine Faulhaber, CEO/Founder of Faulhaber Communications.
In the weeks since they’ve kick started the initiative, Blackjet Inc and Impossible Studios have recruited nearly 100 volunteers to the cause, with more flooding in each day.
