Spin Master Appoints Tammy Smitham As Vice President, Communications & Corporate Social Responsibility

Tammy Smitham recently joined Spin Master as their Vice President of Communications & Corporate Social Responsibility.  In the role Tammy will develop and oversee the communications strategy for the organization, manage the team of communications professionals, also oversee the creation and implementation of Spin Master’s social responsibility objectives.

Prior to the move Tammy was Vice President Communications & Public Affairs at Aimia; Vice President, External Communication, Loblaw and Shoppers Drug Mart where she directed all external communications for Loblaw, including the development of the strategic plan for programs for the emerging, market and discount grocery divisions as well as Shoppers Drug Mart.  Before that Vice President, Communications & Corporate Affairs at  Shoppers Drug Mart, there she led a team of eight in the strategic planning and implementation of external and internal communications activities, media relations, charitable programs, advocacy efforts and consumer affairs.  Counselled senior leaders, including Shoppers Drug Mart President, on communications including external and internal presentations, speeches and media opportunities.
