Facebook’s privacy issues continue to make headlines daily, with Facebook recently conceding that it is possible that most of its two billion users have had their personal data accessed by “bad actors” in some way. Celebrities are deleting their Facebook accounts and the hashtag #DeleteFacebook is a trending topic.
To make matters worse, these issues come on the heels of some major algorithm changes Facebook made in January 2018, which changed the game for brands. As part of this update, the company explicitly stated that brands can expect to see a decline in their ability to reach people via their Facebook business page.
Given these developments, and the many other changes Facebook has made recently, it leads to a logical question:
Should companies continue to invest valuable time and resources in Facebook?
Steve Buors, CEO of Reshift Media will be tackling this important topic during an informative session at the Retail Council Marketing Conference this Thursday, April 12th at 10:45AM Eastern Time.
For those of you who can’t attend in person, we will be broadcasting the session live on Facebook for FREE. Please RSVP here if you would like to attend.RSVP
