Sony Puts Public Relations Account Up For Review [Update]

January 15, 2018

Sony

As they put a wrap on their presence at the 2018 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Sony Electronics is entering the final stages of presentations as they look to change up their corporate communications, and possibly a new agency of record (AOR). Over the last five years competition against Sony has become stronger from other global brands including Apple, Google, LG and Microsoft.

Currently Burson-Marsteller handles the home entertainment and sound division for Sony in the United States, and in Canada it is handled by NATIONAL Public Relations [Marketplace Listing]. It will be interesting to see what happens with the account moving forward and potential changes here in Canada.

Update – Sony Canada ended its relationship with NATIONAL Public Relations in February 2017.
