When Good Earth Coffeehouse was looking to expand its coffee chain to Easstern Canada the brand turned to their strategic partner, Brookline Public Relations. Good Earth recently opened a new Toronto café, its first location in Canada’s largest city. To commemorate this milestone opening, Good Earth hosted a grand opening celebration offering free coffee and treats to new customers as a way to introduce the socially and environmentally responsible brand to Torontonians. The launch program also included a comprehensive outreach strategy to secure considerable traditional media coverage and an extensive blogger relations program with prominent influencers in the GTA resulting in online blog posts and valuable social media exposure for the brand. Public relations efforts were managed by Brookline Public Relations, Inc.
Some of the coverage Brookline secured was with outlets such as the Toronto Sun, Canadian Business Franchise, and Canadian Restaurant News. As well the communications agency organized media drops with fresh food and coffee from the café, and a blogger outreach program with prominent Toronto influencers. Media and bloggers were also invited to attend the grand opening to secure additional coverage of the opening.
