Citizen Relations Expands Across Canada, Adds Several Senior Hires

Sarah Crabbe Citizen Relations (listing) continues its current impressive trajectory of growth with several senior hires across Canada this week.  Sarah Crabbe joins the Toronto team as a Senior Vice President leading a number of national consumer accounts and helping drive growth in Toronto. Sarah has over 18 years experience min strategic brand development, consumer marketing, experiential PR and crisis and issues management with a large number of global consumer brands. Prior to Citizen, Sarah was at Edelman (listing) where she was Senior Vice President, National Practice Lead for the Canadian consumer marketing team developing award-winning campaigns for a variety of well-known brands.

 

Alain MadginIn Quebec, Alain Madgin has been appointed enior Vice President and will oversea Citizen’s government and public affairs practice and new business endeavours. Alain has over 25 years experience in public affairs and lobbying, in addition to an extensive background in the health and pharmaceutical industry. He also has practiced in economics, natural resources and environmental sectors, bringing a comprehensive understanding of political issues at both the provincial and national level. Before joining Citizen Relations, Alain was Vice President,Government Affairs at McKesson Canada and has also held positions at SmithKline Beecham, Solvay, and AstraZeneca Canada. In the past, he had also worked with the Quebec Brewers Association, serving as President for almost three years, gaining significant insight in interprovincial, environmental and industrial trading.

Ian BaillieIan Baillie joins the Vancouver team as of Senior Account Director, Corporate and Public Affairs.   Prior making the move, Ian was with the Canadian Wind Energy Association (CanWEA), where he acted as Regional Director for BC. As Regional Director Ian managed stakeholder and government relations programs. Prior roles also included Executive Director at the Alliance of Beverage Licensees, and Executive Director at Vision Vancouver, a municipal political party that was successful in the last three municipal elections in Vancouver. While at Vision Vancouver, Ian led daily operations and oversaw all areas of the organization.
