It has been a while since we’ve heard from Weber Shandwick Canada’s Montreal office, but this week they have announced the appointment of Rachel Yates as Senior Vice President where will be responsible for propelling business growth and building the agency’s brand and business in the Quebec and Canadian markets. She will support the operational business needs of the Montreal office, and clients across the agency’s portfolio. In particular, Rachel will oversee client business strategy and programming in collaboration with Christian Marcoux, National Health Practice Leader And Managing Director.
Most recently, Rachel was with Telus Health as Director of Marketing and Strategic Planning. Prior to that, she oversaw communications at Merck Canada and the McGill University Health Centre, and also worked at Astral Media, National Public Relations and Concordia University.
Dana Frank has also been hired for the Montreal office as an Account Manager on the Corporate Practice. She was previously a communications coordinator for special projects at the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal, with responsibilities that included organizational, employee and crisis communications. She was also responsible for planning and executing organization-wide programs.
