This week Toronto Pearson International Airport launched its holiday digital marketing campaign, aimed to surprise and delight passengers travelling through Pearson this season.
The campaign features a two-minute video (see below), highlighting Santa’s experiences and amusing moments when he travelled through the airport. In addition to turning heads, taking early Christmas gift requests and giving a few small gifts of appreciation to those who lent him a helping hand, Santa enjoyed many of Toronto Pearson’s in-Terminal offerings and was subject to standard passenger protocol, such as security screenings, carry-on limits and check-in procedures.
The video was created to highlight what the airport has to offer, and to bring a little warmth and cheer to passengers and airport staff alike as Toronto Pearson gears up for one of its busiest seasons. For every retweet of the video, the airport will donate $1 to its Propeller Project, up to $5,000.
The airport encourages online sharing of the video using the hashtags #SantaAtPearson and #HappierHolidays, and will continue to bring holiday spirit and goodwill to travellers throughout the season.
