Since he took over the top seat at Citizen Relations in Canada (formally Optimum PR), Nick Cowling has helped grow the communications agency across the country as they have continuously won new business (and retained existing business) while growing the talent roster. This week Citizen Relations has announced that effective immediately Nick Cowling has been promoted to President, Canada of Citizen Relations. The role will see Nick consolidate his leadership of the firm’s offices in Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal and Quebec City. Nick will also assume responsibility for business development and marketing for North America.
This represents a major shift with Citizen as the agency as opened an AsiaPacific Hub and expanded several global executives. Christian Chamberlin has been appointed to Managing Director, AsiaPacific, based in the firm’s newly expanded Hong Kong regional hub office. Mark Cater has been appointed Managing Director, EIMEA; Jennifer Stansfield appointed Group Director, Multicultural/Vice President, Latin America.
