Subway Says, Lobster “Sandwishes” Do Come True!

July 7, 2015

Returning for a limited time, SUBWAY Restaurants has brought back its Atlantic Canada Lobster Sandwich and now available at a location near you.

“Our Atlantic Canada Lobster Sandwich became one of our best-selling sandwiches when we launched it nationally for a limited time last summer,” says Kathleen Bell, Director of National Marketing, SUBWAY® Restaurants Canada. “That’s why we’re thrilled to partner with the Lobster Council of Canada to bring back our popular Lobster Sandwich to Canadians coast to-coast-this summer.”

To help build awareness for the special promotion, SUBWAY is rolling out a new contest where Canadians have a chance to win its Lucky Lobster Sweepstakes and Instant Win Game.  The contest started on June 29th and ends September 6th, 2015.

Fans also have an opportunity to peel off the label to reveal a unique contest PIN code and visit www.subway.com to register and type in the code. An animated lobster trap will drop into a pool of lobsters, and if the trap catches a lucky lobster, winners will receive one of 400 $50 SUBWAY cash cards. All participants who register and input a PIN code will be entered for a chance to win the grand prize of $20,000 which will be chosen at random at the end of the promotion.

The launch of the Atlantic Canada Lobster sandwich and the Lucky Lobster Sweepstakes will be supported by a national television advertising as well as a digital media campaign which will run from June 29, 2015 to September 6, 2015.
