Coca-Cola and Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Gives Fans In Toronto & Montreal A Chance To #ShareHockey Fan Experience

March 6, 2015

Competition is something that all Canadians know quite well, and when it comes to hockey there is no other sport that brings to nation together on such an emotional level.  One of the greatest rivalries in Canadian hockey history has always been between the Montreal Canadians and Toronto Maple Leafs, and recently Coca-Cola and Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment partnered on a new campaign called #ShareHockey.

The video illustrates one of Canada’s favourite and most historic hockey rivalries: Leafs versus Montreal During the first game of the year, which happened to be between these rivals, Coke vending machines were strategically placed in Toronto and Montreal and fans were asked if they would share a Coke with another fan in real-time, in the rival city. The message? No rivalry is too strong when it comes to sharing happiness.

The contest is being hosted on MLSE digital media channels including the Maple Leaf YouTube channel, and is being supported via Facebook, Twitter, site-takeovers and banners to drive traffic.
