Edelman Toronto Expands Creative & Planning Teams With New Hires

This morning, Edelman Toronto has announced the appointment of Lisa Bednarski as the firm’s Senior Vice-President, Planning.  Prior to joining she Executive Vice President, Brand Strategy & Insights, Weber Shandwick.  In the role, she will be working closely with Executive Creative Director Jordan Doucette to continue to elevate the agency’s planning and creative offering.

Greg Bolton has joined as Creative Director, following a long career in integrated advertising, most recently as Group Creative Director at Leo Burnett. He brings a long pedigree in digital to the role, having worked at digital shops like henderson bas, Organic and Teehan + Lax.

Camielle Clark has been hired as  Director, Creative Production, and is an experienced agency producer having worked at Grey Canada, JWT Chicago, JWT Canada, Bryant, Fulton & Shee (Vancouver) and Saatchi & Saatchi. She joins Edelman full time after freelancing over the past several years, notably at Ogilvy.

Leilah Ambrose has joined Edelman as Associate Creative Director, following nearly two years as the Associate Creative Director on the TELUS account at Taxi. She has also worked as a senior copywriter at Grip Limited, Tribal DDB, and as a writer/designer at Bruce Mau Design.

Matt Smith has come on board as an Associate Creative Director from Taxi, where he worked with Jordan Doucette and Leilah Ambrose as an Art Director. Prior to Matt, Smith worked at Teehan + Lax, henderson bas and Trapeze Media. Smith is a top-tier design thinker, and also brings deep digital experience to the role.On The Move
Scott Tavener has been hired as a Copywriter after coming on board in March 2013 in a contract role. He is a seasoned freelance writer with experience in advertising, PR and journalism, and has written for the Toronto Star, Toro Magazine, Exclaim! Magazine, and other publications. His passion for great creative is informed by the depth and diversity of his experience in creating killer content across platforms.
Hira Gomes has also been hired at Edelman as an Art Director, and previously was an Art Director from Taxi, bringing strong retail, digital and print design skills to the team.
