Environics Communications Appoints Jake Lynn As Vice President In Washington Office

Jake LynnEnvironics Communications has just announced the appointment of Lynn as the agency’s new Vice President in their Washington, D.C. office.  Jake has almost 20 years of public relations and public affairs experience across multiple client sectors including sustainability, technology, health sciences and health IT, energy, and travel/tourism.

Prior to joining Environics, Jake was communications manager at Lockheed Martin Corporation for their Energy, Environment, Safety & Health corporate initiative. In this role, he developed and managed communications campaigns to promote Lockheed’s environmental sustainability and performance programs worldwide. This included media relations; collateral materials such as newsletter, white papers, and marketing brochures; executive and corporate visibility programs; multimedia and video production; and digital media campaigns.

Lynn also worked in two public relations and public affairs agencies in the New York metropolitan area, where he developed and implemented thought leadership campaigns for clients in the technology, health, energy, and medical device sectors. He also served as the director of public affairs for a health-related association, as director of communications for the New York Historical Society, and as a press secretary for the New York City Council and Mayor’s Office.
