Hill+Knowlton Strategies (H+K) has announced the addition of a new Consultant to the roster, Amanda Nielsen, to its Edmonton office. Amanda brings significant experience in strategic planning, government relations, and stakeholder engagement and advocacy. She is working with H+K Alberta’s public affairs group while completing her master’s degree in integrated studies.
In the agency’s Toronto office, they have brought on two new members to the team. Alissa Von Bargen has been hired as a Senior Consultant who was previously with a community development and communications firm where she provided action-oriented management and leadership in her role as the health policy project manager. With a master’s degree in public policy and a bachelor of journalism, Alissa brings an ideal blend of public affairs and communications experience to the H+K health team.
The firm also welcomes back Mary-Anne Cedrone, a “boomerang” H+K employee who returns as an associate and brings extensive experience developing and executing health-care communications strategies and programs.
