Expanding their brand further into the Quebec market, retailer Future Shop has signed a new partnership with the Montreal Canadiens Hockey Club. The two-year sponsorship begins in the upcoming 2013-14 season.
“We’re extremely thrilled to partner with the Montreal Canadiens Hockey Club,” said Richard Laniel, Vice-President Retail Operations and Group Business Leader, Future Shop. “It’s exciting bringing our 19 years of winning excellence in Quebec to a historic and successful team.”
The partnership will introduce the new “Future Shop Family Zone” to 316 seats inside the Bell Centre. This branded area spans sections 426-430, rows B-C-D and will entertain home fans with interactive games, giveaways and promotions throughout the season.
Additionally, Future Shop’s branding will be prominently visible throughout the Bell Centre, including on in-ice logos, rink boards in the practice centre and Jumbotron display. Future Shop’s own assets, like the eNewsletter and weekly flyer will include information about the Montreal Canadiens Hockey Club sponsorship.
