Hill+Knowlton Strategies continues to hire and promote in both their Toronto and Victoria offices as the communications recently announced to PR In Canada.
The agency’s newest Assistant Consultant, Joshua Hollenberg, joins its Toronto public affairs team. Joshua joins the company from a government relations firm where he was responsible for media monitoring, preparing briefing notes, executing government-relations strategies and preparing requests and proposals.
, has been promoted to Senior Account Director of the integrated communications and public affairs team in the firm’s Victoria, B.C., office. Since joining the firm a year ago, Jim has demonstrated deep sector knowledge and his ability to provide strategic communications and government affairs counsel to H+K’s clients, also offering issues and crisis management and stakeholder outreach advice. Having previously served as senior client counsel at a national communications firm, Jim brings more than 15 years of communications and public affairs experience to the B.C. market.
Sasha Babakhanova has been hired as Assistant Consultant to its Toronto health team. Sasha joins H+K from another public relations agency, where she developed her writing and media relations skills working on several health-related accounts. Her volunteer work includes the Hospital for Sick Children and Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital.
