Target Canada Brings Its Own Glitz And Glamour To Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF)

Another big brand is looking to make a splash during the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) as Target Canada takes over Templar, a luxury hotel in downtown Toronto, and will also play home to various media and industry to gather for press events, premieres and parties.

As part of their plans, Target Canada will welcome accredited media and industry to its Filmmakers’ Lounge. Located in the hotel’s penthouse suite, the lounge will provide a space where people can connect, file a story, conduct an interview or simply relax over a cocktail in between events.

Target Canada has also partnered with CBC to host a late night gathering. Celebrating Canadian culture and the arts, Q After Dark with Jian Ghomeshi will welcome 150 guests on Saturday, September 8. The event will host actors, musicians, tastemakers and Target’s beloved bull terrier mascot, Bullseye.
