Rdio Retains NKPR To Support Exclusive Partnerships & Influencer Outreach In Canada

July 18, 2012

Digital music service, Rdio, has retained NKPR to support influencer engagement, music and event sponsorships, and Rdio exclusive music premieres.

“Influencers are the foundation of Rdio’s Global music community,” said Rachel Noonan, Marketing and PR for Rdio Canada. “From checking out the latest playlist inspired by the Joe Fresh spring collection to hearing what music is featured on MTV News, Canadian music fans can follow these tastemakers to discover new music.”

Chief among these initiatives, outreach to influencers is a primary task for NKPR.  Rdio’s unique social design lets music fans follow “influencers”, which are a cross-‐section of tastemakers from entertainment and pop culture with a voice in music.  Current influencers include Canadian artists like Young Empires, the Scissor Sisters’ lead singer Jake Shears and Metro News.
