Rick Anderson Joins NATIONAL Public Relations

NATIONAL Public Relations announced today that Rick Anderson has joined the public relations agency as a Senior Advisor.  Rick is well-known within Canadian and international business and political circles for his insightful counsel and the depth of his knowledge regarding public policy, public opinion and business strategy.

Rick’s career extends to several continents including Canada, the United States and Europe. Amongst his many accomplishments, he worked in Ottawa, Toronto, Washington, D.C. and London, U.K. for an international consulting firm. He participated in the founding of Zip.ca, and spent four years as its President and CEO. He spent three years as Executive Vice-President of a global enterprise, responsible for stakeholder communications including investor, media, government and regulatory relations.

He has worked on a number of elections and leadership campaigns. He worked on Prime Minister Pierre Elliot Trudeau’s 1979 election campaign, leadership campaigns for both Prime Ministers John Turner and Paul Martin and directed national campaigns for Preston Manning’s Reform Party. He was also an advisor to the United Nations International Mission for Iraqi Elections.
