Edelman Adds Eight In Toronto

As they get ready for a new season of business, Edelman Toronto has added eight new members to its team of public relations professionals.  Laura Butcher joins Edelman Toronto as a Senior Account Director with the Technology practice. Laura brings with her a wealth of experience in technology public relations and media. At Edelman, she will be responsible for strategic oversight and management of communications campaigns for key technology clients.  Previously she was with Environics Communications where she had a leadership role on communications projects for major technology companies.

Earlene Tang also joins as an Account Director with the Corporate & Public Affairs practice, she has worked in the U.S., China, as well as Canada. Over the course of her career, she has worked with multiple Fortune 500, technology and consumer companies in the areas of corporate reputation, strategic media relations, stakeholder engagement, corporate branding and social media programming.

Sherri-Lyn Brown joins the Consumer Marketing practice as a Senior Account Manager. Her experience includes strategic communication efforts for various consumer lifestyle brands in travel, hospitality, apparel and entertainment, as well as management of media relations campaigns and events.

Bringing her impressive experience in event management, media relations, cause marketing and product launches, Lynn Bessoudo also joins Edelman Toronto. In her new role as a senior account manager with the Consumer Marketing practice, Lynn will be responsible for providing counsel on a number of communications programs for key consumer clients.

Arriving from the Edelman London office, Devon Burke joins the Edelman Toronto team as a senior account manager with the Technology practice. Her experience includes content creation, online engagement and management and oversight of social properties for a variety of Edelman clients in the EMEA countries and the UK.

Edelman Toronto welcomes Josh Muirhead, who joins the Digital practice as a Senior Account Manager. Josh brings his impressive experience in advocacy and community-based programs and social marketing. Before coming to Edelman, Josh was the principal owner of his own digital marketing firm, working with clients such as Burton and The Heart and Stroke Foundation.

James Roberts has been hired as a Senior Designer, and will lead the Toronto Creative Services team, tapping into his experience in traditional and digital media, including illustration, brand and logo expertise, web design and development, Facebook application design, print design and management, and mobile application design.

Candi Jeronimo comes to the team as a Senior Account Manager with the Technology practice. Candi brings experience including media relations and strategic counsel for major enterprise, corporate and consumer companies, as well as writing and producing for CTV in Toronto before starting her PR career. In her new role at Edelman Toronto, Candi will be responsible for managing communications campaigns for key technology clients.
