- 15% of Canada’s top 40 nonprofits have no social channels on their website homepages
- More charities promote their Twitter profiles than Facebook pages
- The Salvation Army led the pack on Twitter, with more than 11,400 followers, but the United Way of Toronto was the most talkative
- Doctors Without Borders ruled Facebook, with more than 434,000 fans, but the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation had the most posts
