Edelman Public Relations Montreal Expands Management Team

Edelman Canada announced a few new additions to their management team in Montreal, and new leadership at the helm as Anik Trudel has been appointed General Manager of the Edelman Montreal office.   Anik first joined the public relations agency in August 2008 as Vice-President, where she oversaw the development of the corporate communications practice. She was named Deputy General Manager in 2009, and has led much of the firm’s reputation and crisis management work.  Prior to Edelman, she spent 20 years as a Senior Partner at a Canadian law firms. Involved in her field and in the community, she has sat on various boards of directors for many years, including that of the Montreal Port Authority.

Louise Dion has been appointed Vice-President, Operations of the Edelman Montreal office.  In this role, she will be responsible, for the overall daily supervision of PR and business development projects and recruitment in addition to her regular client responsibilities. She has more than 25 years’ experience in the fields of marketing and communications and is a strategic communications and brand management specialist.  She has been with Edelman since 2008.

Sakis Spyrou has been appointed Vice-President, Digital Operations of Edelman Montreal reporting directly to the CEO, John Clinton. Edelman Montreal’s digital team includes 15 employees dedicated to web development and programming, as well as the monitoring and analysis of social media activity. This past year, Mr. Spyrou demonstrated outstanding leadership qualities through his close collaboration with other Edelman offices in Canada and the U.S. His contributions led directly to the success of numerous digital communications campaigns. Mr. Spyrou has more than 20 years’ experience in the technology field, including having founded his own technology company.

Edelman also announces the departure of Sylvain Perron, Former General Manager of the Canadian Digital Practice and of the Montreal office.
