Environics Communications Continues To Expand In The US With San Francisco Office

June 6, 2011

As Canadian-based public relations agency Environics Communications (ECI) continues to expand its client roster it has turned its sight onto the US market and has opened an office in San Francisco.  This now makes the second US office for ECI, in 1995 they opened one in Stamford, Connecticut which has since been closed, then in 2001 they opened a office in Washington.

The new office is located in Embarcadero in downtown San Francisco, which puts it in the heart of Silcon Valley, the largest ICT cluster in North America, and a hot bed for technology companies, an area that is definitely a key focus for ECI as they expand their technology practice.  The new office will be run by Jonelle Birney Sullivan who will be the General Manager for the new office.

“Environics now offers San Francisco clients a local office led by an award-winning PR professional, combined with our staff and expertise in Washington, Toronto, Montreal, and globally through our international affiliates,” said Environics U.S. General Manager Dave Groobert. “We offer all our clients the full spectrum of traditional and digital services.”

ECI already has a foot print in the San Francisco area with clients such as biotechnology company Genencor, technology firm JDSU, and the national headquarters of children’s literacy nonprofit Raising A Reader. In addition, Environics represents several national organizations whose members are located on the West Coast, such as the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses, the Biotechnology Industry Organization, and the Electric Drive Transportation Association.
