Saint John Selected As Host City For 2011 Canadian Public Relations Conference

The date has been set, the venue has been selected as the 2011 Canadian Public Relations Conference is getting ready to open the doors and expects to bring together 300+ public relations professionals from across Canada. ┬áSaint John, New Brunswick will be the host city for the June 5 – 7 conference this year.

“The Power of PR theme perfectly captures the main elements of this year’s conference,” said Susan Harris, Host Committee Chair. “We will witness the power of people working together, the power of research and strategic planning, and the power of technology and its tools on the PR and communications industry.”

The three-day conference will include guest speakers, workshops, networking opportunities, CPRS’ 2011 annual general meeting and its annual Awards of Excellence gala and dinner. Keynote speakers are Dave Carroll, internationally acclaimed internet sensation behind the song “United Breaks Guitars” Mitch Joel, a marketing and personal branding expert, considered to be the “Rock Star of Digital Marketing” Peggie Pelosi, Founder and CEO of ORENDA Connections, a corporate social responsibility (CSR) consultancy; and Sean Wise, author of “How to Be a Business Superhero.”
