NATIONAL Public Relations has added two new members to its Ottawa office as John Crean, National Managing Partner of NATIONAL Public Relations has announced the addition of Chris Froggatt and Leah Murray.
Two of Ottawa’s most respected public affairs and communications professionals, Chris Froggatt and Leah Murray, are joining NATIONAL Public Relations, Canada’s largest, most successful strategic communications firm. The appointments continue the company’s drive to offer exceptional service to public and private sector clients.
Chris Froggatt has been named Managing Partner of the Ottawa office, previously he was Chief of Staff to the Honourable John Baird, P.C., M.P., Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities. Chris has over 15 years experience working in Ottawa and at Queen’s Park. He has served as a Senior Advisor to Preston Manning, when he was Opposition Leader. Chris’ talents include understanding and helping to manage complex public policy issues, developing practical and thoughtful communications strategies, and building and managing teams of professionals.
Leah Murray has also joined the NATIONAL team in Ottawa as Director. Leah has a strong reputation for bringing innovative communications and marketing solutions to private industry, associations, and federal government departments, including Treasury Board Secretariat, the Department of Foreign Affairs, and Natural Resources Canada. She is also widely known as a successful event planning consultant, having played key roles in Politics and the Pen, Payments Panorama 2010 and the Governor General’s Performing Arts Gala.
