April 30, 2010

Communications MECA has a new win in their corner as The St. Maarten Tourist Bureau has chosen the communications firm as their agency of record for Canada. The agency will be responsible for executing strategic public relations, marketing and sales activities across the country.

“We are thrilled to have Communications MECA join our international team of partners and communications experts,” said Regina Labega, Director of Tourism, St. Maarten Tourist Bureau. “The Canadian market is extremely important to us, and we look forward to working closely with MECA to strengthen and reinforce our relationships with Canadian leisure and corporate travelers, tour operators and travel agents.”

Fun Fact about St. Maarten – It is the smallest island in the world to be shared by two nations, the Netherlands and France, creating a European-influenced vibe with a Caribbean flair. St. Maarten is also the culinary capital of the Caribbean with an eclectic array of elegantly-perfected culinary fusion to keep “food lovers” returning each year. And with more than 300 restaurants, the island has tastes to satisfy every palate and pocketbook.
