Can Social Media Save Michael Bryant's Reputation After Killing Bike Courier?

Just the headline alone sends a strong message that will make anyone stop and ponder for a moment as we recall hearing how Former Ontario Attorney General Michael Bryant was in a car accident recently which resulted in the death of cyclist Darcy Allan Sheppard. To try and repair some of the damage and prepare for court proceedings Navigator Limited has been hired to handle Bryant’s public relations. As part of their efforts Navigator has turned to social media tools including a blog (Bryantfacts.wordpress.com) and Twitter account (@bryantfacts) to help share his story.

While setting up these tools to tell Bryant’s story make sense is Navigator monitoring what is being said about Michal Bryant and the public’s opinion to the charges that have been laid against him. Many people who’ve commented on different blogs and other media outlets have said variations of “Michael Bryant is guilty, but he is rich so will get a slap on the wrist.”

I wouldn’t be that surprised if someone has created a group of Facebook to show their support for Darcy Allan Sheppard.

“Let me be clear” – the footage Navigator doesn’t want you to see: Bryant uses car to scare and deck Al, reverses, flees…

Dead men can`t talk

“Michael Bryant was in a car accident recently which resulted in the death of cyclist Darcy Allan Sheppard.”

ROFLMAO

A car “accident”?
I`ve been in car accidents.
That was no accident.

That`s Navigator spin.

Support for Darcy Sheppard?
He`s DEAD as a result of road rage.
Keep that in mind.

Innocent people don`t need PR firms BEFORE going to trial.

Let`s see…what was the order of the calls…..Lawyer,PR Firm,911

or was it PR Firm,lawyer,911?

What was the reason he left the scene of the “accident”?
Was it so the mystery Blonde could leave the scene?
Were there drugs or alcohol in the car?

All very odd if you ask me.

Where are all of Bryant’s so-called friends? I don’t see anyone rallying to his defence, other than his $600 an hour PR firm and some Internet goon calling himself “Boris Moris” posting anti-Sheppard comments at The Globe and Mail.
