Are Your Clients Communicating Confidence About Their Company's Future?

By now many of you might have heard that Amazon.com has acquired Zappos.com for $920 million (wow!). News like this is going to break fast across the world, especially when we have countless blogs and other social media tools used by people willing to share the news.  This of course can be good and can be bad for a business.  As Company B is acquired by Company A, employees will always wonder “is my job safe?”  That’s a pretty reasonable question, especially as you look at the current market place and slower economy.  Another factor that often effects employees of an acquisition is the possible duplication of jobs.

Leave it to Jeff Bezos, Founder of Amazon.com to quickly realize this and post a video on YouTube which I’m sure has helped to set employees of both companies at ease as well to help foster a stronger brand and community.  Don’t just take my word on it, check out the video for yourself.  Do you think Jeff’s has had any media training, yes, probably just a tad.  What do you think of this CEO’s messaging?
