The 2009 Canadian Public Relations Society (CPRS) national conference, On The Edge, is taking place in Vancouver at the Westin Bayshore June 7-9, and it offers an exceptional professional development opportunity for communications, marketing and public relations professionals.
There are three streams to the conference this year: Going for Gold in Communications, Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability and PR 2.0. With five thought-provoking keynote speakers, 20 inspiring workshops by industry experts as well as countless networking opportunities, On The Edge offers insight, stimulating ideas and practical advice on today’s key communications and public relations issues.
Registration discount available now
While the current economic climate is requiring all of us to make hard decisions given shrinking budgets, this conference is an outstanding value.
Until April 17, registration for the full three days and all the special events is just $1095 for CPRS members, which is a savings of $100. Registration for those who aren’t CPRS members is $1195, a savings of $500 over the regular rate for non-CPRS members.
This includes all breakfasts, health breaks and lunches as well as two special events – one at the Richmond Oval, a brand new Olympic games venue, and the other at the top of Grouse Mountain, where you will experience spectacular vistas of Vancouver and the entire Lower Mainland region. It also includes a ticket to our awards dinner on the last night of the conference where we will honour the outstanding achievements of some of our members.
