With the help of Paradigm Public Relations, AIG Travel Guard Canada has recently launched “The Truth About Travel Insurance”, www.truthabouttravelinsurance.ca campaign to help the public be better informed about making their travel insurance policy decisions.
“The Truth About Travel Insurance public awareness campaign was created to help Canadians make informed decisions when choosing a travel insurance policy,” says Nathan LaFayette, director of operations, AIG Travel Guard Canada. “Too many people find out the hard way that their provincial health insurance or travel insurance provided through their credit card doesn’t cover them for what they need.”
The site provides facts and tries to dispel many common assumptions that consumer make when it comes to the type of travel insurance coverage they need, such as believing that credit cards or employee benefit plans being all that you need to have peace as you drink your Corono on the beach.
