Holmes Creative Communications Promotes Chris McDowall And Expands The Team

After six years as Director, Client Services, Chris McDowall has been appointed Vice President at Holmes Creative Communications (HCC). Prior to joining HCC, McDowall maintained a 20-year career in radio as a commercial writer, creative director and marketing/promotion director for stations in Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary and plenty of small towns in between. His last seven years in radio saw Chris in the position of Marketing and Promotions Director for Toronto’s CHFI and 680News. After a five-year stint with a Seattle PR firm, McDowall returned to Toronto and joined HCC. He quickly reconnected with broadcast colleagues and applied the skills he had learned over the years: an eye for detail; promotional insight; creative flair; writing skills; and a love for early morning hours.

HCC also announces the promotions of Samantha Taus and Tiffany Astle each to the role of Director. In this new role, Taus will continue to focus on a client portfolio including The 2008 JUNO Awards, marblemedia, and Travel Alberta, while Astle’s responsibilities will include campaigns on behalf of clients such as the Songwriters’ Hall of Fame, The Genie Awards and the Niagara Wine Auction.

At the same time, HCC is pleased to announce the return of Adrienne Kakoullis to the team. Prior to taking time off to travel Europe, she most recently held the position as Senior Publicist for Global Television. In her role as Director at HCC, she will not only lead public and media relations campaigns for various clients, but also manage new business and partnership endeavours on behalf of the firm across its various lifestyle sectors.
