Western University Turns To Social Media To Create Recruitment Program

King’s University College at The University of Western Ontario has turned to their year marketing students to help create a first-ever student recruitment campaign. The new campaign called “Get Connected Make a Difference” incorporate mobile, social media and online initiatives and targets high school students.

King’s Hub, an interactive student community was created to connect Grade 12 students to King’s students and offers video and photo contests, the most recent campaign “Bling Your Crib Contest” which went live earlier in September also on TTC platforms and Skywalk (in time for the University Fair at the Toronto Convention Centre Sept. 25-27th).

King’s University hired Medynsky & Associates to create the campaign.
