Toronto Star Leaps Into The Year Of The Frog

I have to admit, I’m not really sure about this whole Leap Day thing and whether it is good or bad, but I did have someone send me a text message saying “Happy Leap Day” so that shows that someone’s paying attention. The public relations department at the frog Toronto Zoo choose this day to launch a support campaign for the four-legged amphibian friends, the frog. “This is an extinction crisis that is unprecedented in the history of the world,” said Bill Peters, national director of the Canadian Association of Zoos and Aquariums.

As part of the pr campaign, a microsite, “Year of the Frog”, was launched and here’s some coverage in the Toronto Star.
