The judges have decided, and Starcom MediaVest Group has won gold at Strategy‘s Media Agency of the Year (MAOY) Awards.
The MAOY Awards honour the best work of Canada’s media agencies, as chosen from a national shortlist by Canadian agencies and then by a panel of Canada’s top communications professionals.
Starcom’s integrated media campaigns for Nintendo Wii’s Big Brain Academy, Johnnie Walker Chinese New Year, and Pogo’s “Be Proud Of Your Wiener.” I guess potty humour never fails to be effective with teens, the campaign’s targeted demographic.
SMV’s president Lauren Richards accepted the award the agency’s behalf.
