News Canada once again is promotion two and hiring one to their team here in Toronto. Paul Gitlin has been hired as Senior Account Executive. Gitlin was formerly an Account Executive at SHOPTV Canada, where he sold broadcast time as well as production services related to direct response. News Canada clients will greatly benefit from the media expertise gained from his selling outdoor, print and in-theatre advertising. His accounts will include clients in the food, non-alcoholic beverage, pet-care and restaurant industries.
Michael Procunier, who joined News Canada over a year ago as Sales Coordinator and more recently filled the role of Media Relations Coordinator, has been promoted to Account Executive. In this new position, Procunier will build on his track record of providing excellent customer consultation and service specific to: alcoholic beverage, cosmetics, toiletries, fashion and commodity marketing board accounts.
Angela Di Stasi will be moving from the video production department to accounts becoming the Video Communication Specialist for in-video – News Canada’s new video communication service. Having prior experience as a producer and editor of online videos, Di Stasi’s expertise will be a terrific asset to clients looking to expand their communications tools.
