Global communications firm MS&L has taken a big step to towards expanding their digital marketing and social media offering in Toronto as they have hired a new Vice President, Social Media and Digital Marketing. Alex de Bold has been appointed to the role and will work in the firm`s Toronto office and will serve the agency’s consumer, healthcare and corporate clients, helping them to manage brand and corporate reputation, internal and customer dialogue and word of mouth marketing through social media. He will also be part of the senior management team.
The new role is part of MS&L’s efforts to help clients maximize real-time conversation in the digital space. Prior to joining Alex was Principal of his own business consultancy and from his role as co-founder of ChickAdvisor.com, where he will remain on the board of directors. Before that Previously he was VP, Web Marketing for Viigo, Director of Traveller Engagement for Butterfield & Robinson and Director of Business Development at Labatt Breweries for Canada (Beer.com).
