Metro Supports Breast Cancer Awareness With Pink Edition And Editorial And Content

metroOn the heels of Breast Cancer Awareness month, Metro is lending their support once again with a new campaign.  Issues of Metro in oronto, Vancouver, Ottawa, Calgary, Edmonton, and Halifax will be printed entirely in pink today (September 29), while Metro newspapers in over 100 cities worldwide, including Metro Montreal, go pink on October 1st. The Metro Canada website will also get a pink skin at metronews.ca on September 29th and at journalmetro.com on October 1st.
“Metro’s Breast Cancer Awareness lineup of stories in the paper and on metronews.ca takes readers around the globe to the frontlines of breast cancer prevention, detection, treatment, and survival,” says Dianne Rinehart, Editor in Chief, Metro English Canada.

The paper will also create offer editorial content centered around breast cancer awareness with CIBC and CIBC Run for the Cure campaign also having ads in the issue.
